Where the voice stands
The Dark Night โ Dhammapada finding suggested a dimension no one hand-coded: not what a text says about the spiritual path, but where on the path its voice is standing. Path-voice speaks from inside the struggle: I cry out, I seek, I have not yet found. Destination-voice speaks from attainment: thus it is, the wise one knows, the work is complete. This axis was built from those two stances and every verse in the corpus was scored on it.
The two predicted extremes were confirmed: the Dark Night is the most path-voiced text in the corpus, and the Dhammapada and Upanishads sit at the destination end. The discovery nobody predicted: divination literature (the I Ching, the Ifa corpus) is strongly path-voiced. Divination is the institutionalization of the seeker's stance: its texts speak permanently from the place of not yet knowing.
